Especially for New Zealand homeschoolers...
There are heaps of diaries to choose from these days. You can
pop into The Stationery Warehouse or Paper Plus and find a wide
choice of planners, organisers and diaries at a wide range of
prices. The more generic ones are cheaper, although the more
specific ones cost a bit more.
A lot of the diaries and planners will have irrelevant
information that just gets in the way, slows you down and
decreases your effectiveness as a homeschool mother.
But there is a planning diary designed and produced exclusively
for New Zealand Homeschoolers:
| 1. |
Pages which specifically relate to them as
homeschooling mothers. |
| 2. |
Space for them to record the goals and progress of their
individual children. |
| 3. |
A diary which reflects the New Zealand calendar, with our
specific holidays and anniversary dates. |
| 4. |
Space to record all those special things like books and
curriculum wanted, books borrowed, items lent, favourite web
pages, books read, etc. |
| 1. | The diary has pages to record
plans, goals, timetables, books read, books to get, books
lent, books borrowed, good resources, website addresses,
people addresses, weekly menus, and more. |
| 2. | The diary has space to record
weekly goals for up to four children, as well as space for
shared lessons, annual and term goals, plans and dreams. |
| 3. | The diary contains all the New
Zealand dates, and three years of calendars, as well each
special holiday being marked throughout the diary. There is
also two planning pages for December 2011 and January 2013
so that you can overlap with previous and next diaries very
comfortably. |
| 4. | The diary has an interesting
fact
quotation on every double page of the weekly diary, and
planning pages at the beginning of every term.

Since I bought the diary I am far more organized. It's such a great tool. Because the planning pages are there I actually plan! There is room for everything, study, appointments, meals and to-do list for me.
Easy to carry around if I need. Information about school terms, public holidays & the following year. I like the fact it's specifically for homeschoolers.
What a fantastic product!
I am now better organised for the week ahead.
I would recommend the diary. It is a very workable dairy with everything in one area e.g. reading logs, topic plans etc. The weekly planner is very useful.
I like that I can use it for many aspects of my life, ie. homeschool planning, menu plans, appointments, record keeping etc. I like the examples of planning in the diary - these have been a real help to me! I also love the quotations scattered throughout.
I would definitely recommend it. Because it is a fantastic tool for a busy mum/homeschool mum. There is a place to note down everything!
I like the planning pages, and seeing it all filled in will all the work we had done! I like that I fit in everything, meals, budget, notes etc. I have all my plans, lessons, book notes etc in one place. It is a really great tool The A5 size is great to fit in my handbag so I can grab it to write down an idea or a book title I see that might fit in to our curriculum. Although I must add I have been told off by my husband for writing down my homeschooling brainwaves during church!! So now I write my church notes in it too!!
Great size - not too big or bulky. One place for keeping all my info - not lots of different books. Great record to look back on - not only for homeschool plans but very handy when planning out my menus - what meals did we have in the last few weeks etc.
Thanks for the PDF. I printed it in colour, it looks fab. I have added a few extra pages at page 4 just called it notes and put a border around it I need lots of spare pages to write my notes on. I also reproduced page 22 about 10 times as I need lots of room for my brain waves. Laminated book marks and tied them on with a tassel and put loads of dividers so I can find places very easily. Think I will tie a pencil to my diary, as I am always losing them.
It's cute! And has interesting quotes before each term section....and places for recording and planning... :D
I would recommend the diary because it is so helpful and good/easy to use.
I like that it has a timetable for each term; as we tend to change things around each term, I like the ideas of samples given to use, and I love that you can write a planning, goals and brainstorming page. ooh and the menu planner for each day.
The diary you've created is absolutely inspiring!!!
Thanks so much for the very beautiful planner. I have already printed it out ready to punch and insert into my leather cover. It looks great and I'm very excited about homeschooling with this planner from Nov and onto next year. I like the attractiveness, the wonderful quotes and the very useful areas for planning. Thanks...
I am so excited to finally have the type of diary I need!
Thanks so much. Isn’t a new diary a wonderful thing? I love the fresh start and the whole year stretched out before me. Thank you- I know I am going to enjoy using it.
It's lovely, can't wait to show it off..........oh, and use it of course.
My new Homeschool Diary arrived yesterday. I am absolutely thrilled with it – thank you Stephanie! A lot of thought has been put into the content and format, and I’m so glad I decided to buy it over the other standard diaries I usually get. If anything will help to get me organised, this diary will.
I received the diary today and really like it! I can see you have put a lot of effort into it, and love the way so many things are covered in one book! I like the living books record, diary broken into term dates, the term plan pages, the weekly plan for holiday time (touch of genius there with the catch up jobs for me , books I want to read and Read aloud for the children, as these are things I often mean to write down but have nowhere specific to keep them). Actually, the more I look at it, the more I like it! Well done for all your hard work.
Thank you Stephanie for a beautiful homeschooling diary! I have just had chance to have a look through mine and it is so attractive and well put-together - I am very impressed! I love the quotes at the bottom of the pages that will help to keep me focused on what I am doing, with the big picture in mind. I like the way the week plan and the diary page are open at the same time so I can see the week's goals and plans at one glance. And it's compact enough to fit in my handbag! I'm very pleased with my investment. Thanks for doing all the hard work for me!
The diary has arrived, I am loving using it!! It’s just how I like everything set out. Room for all my little notes and plans.
Choose Your Own Format!
The New Zealand Homeschoolers Diary comes in three formats.
You can choose the format that suits you best.
This diary is a lot more than a diary; it's a guided planner
and organiser...
...with an eight-page user guide.
The 'User Guide' is a clear and detailed explanation of how to use the diary and how to make good use of the planning pages. In the 'User Guide' you will learn how to plan topics, record the work you are doing and have done with your child, and you will learn how to organise your week.

I am delighted to say that the cost of the 2012 is reduced again this

didn't want to lose print quality, so I've worked with the printer to
get the high quality printing I want, at an economical price.
